7pm - Strauss Waltz Mixer and Schottische Quadrilles. After a familiar waltz mixer updated with Strauss favorites, Richard will premiere his favorite discovery of the year - Schottische Quadrilles that were hugely popular in Philadelphia and Boston over a century ago. Richard and Mirage will teach these in Geneva but FNW regulars also like vintage dances because they're already familiar with the basic steps.

8pm - Gattopardo Mazurka Mixer, Donella Tango and the Original 1937 Big Apple. A week after Geneva, Richard and Mirage will teach these three dances in Paris. The mixer uses both mazurka and redowa steps yet is still fairly easy. Richard has taught Donella tango at FNW, over a year ago, but the Original 1937 Big Apple will be a Friday Night Waltz premiere.

This will be Richard's only Friday Night Waltz before September 30th.

A very special class tonight! David Chen is teaching the "Peanut Butter Jellytime" routine. We have had several spontaneous instant performances at recent Friday Night Waltzes,which prompted the biggest laughs and greatest applause!
